Happy belated Bastille day!
Here’s a good fun fact about pastis, our favorite sister-drink (drinks you drink with your sister.) You’re supposed to put a teeny bit of pastis in the cup and then a whole bunch of water. You’re not supposed to fill the cup to the almost tippy-top with pastis and then add a splash of water to make it just a little cloudy.
We did not know this for a very long time and poured it all wrong at a sexy Parisian kitchen party (you know what I’m talkin’ bout) and came off as massive alcoholics. Explained a lot about the influx of licorice-flavored hangovers.
